During Easter Week 2025, Rev Dr Jennie Hurd, one of our Synod Chairs, will be walking from the oldest English-language Methodist chapel in Mid/North Wales still in regular use to the oldest Welsh-language Methodist chapel in the world.
You are welcome to join this pilgrimage of prayer for a day, part of a day or the whole route.
Itinerary:
Sunday 20th April – Pentre Llifior to Welshpool (8.5 miles, 62 metres of ascent, lanes and canal)
Monday 21st April – Welshpool to Four Crosses (9.5 miles, 26 metres of ascent, canal and lanes)
Tuesday 22nd April – Four Crosses to Oswestry (12.5 miles, 120 metres of ascent, canal and lanes)
Wednesday 23rd April – Oswestry to Froncysyllte (12.5 miles, 597 metres of ascent, up and down)
Thursday 24th April – Froncysyllte to Llandegla (12 miles, 693 metres of ascent, across the Moor)
Friday 25th April – Llandegla to Ruthin (7.5 miles, 247 metres of ascent, end of the Clwydian Hills)
Saturday 26th April – Ruthin to Denbigh (8.5 miles, 175 metres of ascent, along the Valley, into town)
