Circuit Service (Taizé)

Evereyone is welcome to join us at 6pm on Sunday 23rd March for a Circuit Service (Taizé worship) at Llangollen Methodist Church.

In this time of worship we will hear words from the Bible, pray, sing, and be silent together.

Taizé worship is simple and reflective. The songs are short and repeated several times, usually for around 3 minutes. As we sing we have the opportunity to reflect deeply on the words and to take them into ourselves as a gracious gift from God. The melody is rich and beautiful, and it is easy to pick up and join in.

There will be periods of silence including one longer time of silence lasting about 5 minutes. During the silence we might reflect on the words spoken or sung, focus on something in our surroundings, or simply relax into the stillness as we listen together.

The worship will last for no longer than 1 hour.
