Overton

Overton Methodist Chapel is in the centre of Overton-on-Dee, some 7 miles-south-east of Wrexham. There is parking in the centre of the village and the 146 bus service passes the chapel. We are part of the Wrexham Methodist Circuit and the Wales Synod Cymru of the Methodist church.

Overton is a rural village, and our congregation is drawn from the village and surrounding area. We meet each week to worship God and we have a warm welcome for visitors and those new to the area alike. After each service we continue our fellowship with a hot drink and biscuits in the schoolroom at the back of the chapel.

Each Tuesday afternoon we hold a Craft Group in the church and we also have a monthly coffee morning on the last Saturday of the month and a soup lunch on the third Wednesday of the month

We welcome families to our services, and we welcome their contribution to the church.
